In a strategic effort to streamline leadership and bolster its grassroots machinery ahead of crucial assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced a comprehensive organisational reshuffle on Thursday.
Party National President Nitin Nabin officially reassigned key roles to the BJP’s national joint general secretaries (organisation), placing prominent leaders in charge of vital state units.
Under the fresh organisational notification, National Joint General Secretary (Organisation) Saudan Singh has been assigned responsibility over four key eastern states: Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal. Singh, a seasoned strategist known for his disciplined organisational approach, will closely manage political strategy, internal operations, and coordination across these strategic state units.
Similarly, National Joint General Secretary (Organisation) Shivprakash has been tasked with overseeing party affairs across five states — Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Goa.
In another major assignment, senior leader V. Satish (BJP National Sangathak) has been handed charge of party operations concerning the SC and ST Morchas, a move aimed at enhancing outreach among marginalised communities. Additionally, Satish will assume management of the BJP’s Parliament office, overseeing administrative and strategic functions within the legislature.
Party sources indicate these appointments are tailored to optimise internal coordination, strengthen cadre discipline, and sharpen campaign execution ahead of upcoming state electoral contests.
