The much-awaited laughter riot Golmaal 5 has officially locked its theatrical release date.
Director Rohit Shetty took to social media to announce that the fifth instalment of India’s favourite comedy franchise will hit the big screens on January 8, 2027.

Ajay Devgn will naturally reprise his fan-favourite role as Gopal, leading the madcap comedy. He will be joined by franchise regulars Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, and Shreyas Talpade. Adding to the massive excitement is the return of Sharman Joshi, who makes his much-awaited comeback to the series after starring in the original 2006 classic, Golmaal: Fun Unlimited.
Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar joins the gang as a brand-new face in the universe. Additionally, reports indicate that Priyamani will feature in a pivotal role, heavily rumoured to be playing the antagonist.
Launched in 2006 with Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, Rohit Shetty’s franchise has grown into a pop-culture phenomenon, expanding through Golmaal Returns (2008), Golmaal 3 (2010), and the supernatural action-comedy blockbuster Golmaal Again (2017).
