The theatrical run of the devotional drama Hanuman Ansh has escalated from a surprise success into an unprecedented box office phenomenon.
Continuing its relentless wave of word-of-mouth momentum, the film delivered a staggering Rs 18.50 crore nett approx on its sixth Saturday.
This marks the single biggest Saturday of the film’s entire theatrical run, comfortably outperforming the Rs 16 crore nett recorded on its fifth Saturday.
More significantly, it now holds the record for the biggest 6th Saturday of all time in Indian cinema history, outstripping the previous record of Rs 5.25 crore nett held by Dhurandhar by nearly 3.5 times.
After the sixth Saturday, Hanuman Ansh’s India collection stands at Rs. 183.60 crore nett. Strong advance bookings and early Sunday trends indicate the film could cross Rs. 200 crore nett today.
It has also surpassed 1 crore footfalls nationwide, with trade analysts projecting it could reach 2 crore before its run ends.

The first two days of its sixth week (Rs 10.00 crore on Friday and Rs 18.50 crore on Saturday) have already outperformed the corresponding first two days of its fifth week.
With Sunday expected to post another weekly increase, followed by an upcoming holiday boost on Monday, the film is effectively locked in to deliver its fourth consecutive week-on-week growth—a rare feat in modern commercial cinema.
From this point, if the film follows a somewhat normal run, it should cross the Rs. 300 crore nett mark. If it continues performing the way it has been, Rs. 400 crore nett, or perhaps even Rs. 500 crore nett, could be achieved.
