Filmmaker Farah Khan is getting emotional as her triplets, Diva, Anya and Czar, leave home to begin a new chapter at universities in the United States.
Farah shared glimpses of her farewell with her children on Instagram, revealing that all three have moved to different cities and campuses for their higher studies.
Reflecting on the emotional milestone, Farah joked that sending one child to college is difficult enough, but doing it three times — across three cities and three campuses — made the goodbye even harder.
She encouraged her children to enjoy their new lives while reminding them that home will always be there for them. She also thanked husband Shirish Kunder for being involved in the process, even though he stayed out of the family pictures.
Where are Farah Khan’s children studying?
The three siblings are pursuing different academic interests at universities in the US.
Diva Kunder has joined Babson College, where she will study Entrepreneurship and Finance.
Anya Kunder is heading to New York University (NYU) to study Economics and Data Science.
Czar Kunder has joined Emory University, where he will study Artificial Intelligence in Business.
With all three starting college at the same time but in different cities, the milestone marks a significant transition for the family.
Farah Khan chooses a special song for the farewell
For her emotional post, Farah chose the title track of Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna as the soundtrack to her children leaving for college.
Her post quickly drew warm reactions from friends and fellow celebrities.
Karan Johar called her the “best mom ever”, while Rhea Kapoor expressed disbelief at how quickly the children had grown up. Shilpa Shirodkar also congratulated the siblings and wished them success in their new phase of life.
Farah had earlier spoken about college expenses
Farah had previously discussed the financial demands of sending three children to university while appearing on Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle.
She had said that the prospect of sending all three children to university was one of the reasons she started her YouTube show with her cook, Dileep.
Now, with Diva, Anya and Czar beginning their university journeys, Farah’s earlier comments have taken on a new meaning — as the filmmaker navigates the bittersweet experience of watching all three children leave home at once.
