The Ganjam district administration has declared a comprehensive No-Flying Zone in preparation for the Hon’ble President of India’s three-day visit to Odisha.

The restrictions, effective on August 4 and 5, include a complete ban on drones and aerial platforms along the President’s travel route.

The ban covers the stretch from Brahmapur Railway Station to Taptapani, including Gosaninugaon, Andhapasara Road, Haridakhandi, and Digapahandi Road. It also extends to the Taptapani Temple Complex, the Army Air Defence College at Golabandha, and adjoining areas.

During the visit, the operation of drones, unmanned aircraft, powered aircraft, paragliders, hot air balloons, and similar aerial devices is strictly prohibited. Violators will face legal action under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the Aircraft Act, Aircraft Rules, and the Drone Rules.

The President is scheduled to inaugurate Jagadguru Kripalu University in Cuttack on August 3, travel by train from Bhubaneswar to Brahmapur on August 4, and proceed to Taptapani for darshan at Maa Kandhuni Devi Temple and Shiva Temple. She will also visit the Army Air Defence College before returning on the morning of August 5.
