Panic spread across Jagatsinghpur and Jharsuguda on Friday after both district courts reportedly received bomb threat emails from an unidentified sender.
The messages warned of explosions at the court premises, prompting immediate security reinforcement.
Police, bomb disposal squads, and special teams rushed to both locations and began detailed search operations. Every corner of the court complexes is being inspected, with suspicious objects kept under close watch. A cyber investigation team has also started tracing the origin of the threatening emails to identify the sender and motive.
Authorities confirmed that no explosive materials have been found so far. As a precaution, the administration has tightened security and urged citizens to remain calm while cooperating with law enforcement.
Senior officials stated that the matter is being treated with utmost seriousness, and efforts are underway to ensure the safety of all judicial staff and visitors.
