The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the nominees for the Men’s and Women’s Player of the Month awards for June 2026, recognizing standout performers across formats and the recently concluded ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
Men’s Nominees
- Mossadek Hossain (Bangladesh): Returned after four years to inspire Bangladesh’s historic 2‑1 ODI series win over Australia, scoring 157 runs and taking key wickets.
- Nathan Smith (New Zealand): Claimed 16 wickets to lead New Zealand’s comeback 2‑1 Test series victory in England, earning Player of the Series honours.
- Shubman Gill (India): Scored a commanding 126 in the one‑off Test against Afghanistan and amassed 238 runs in two ODIs, including a match‑winning 154 in Lucknow.
Women’s Nominees
- Kathryn Bryce (Scotland): All‑round brilliance with 178 runs and 11 wickets, starring in Scotland’s tri‑series win and continuing her form in the T20 World Cup.
- Sree Charani (India): Tournament’s leading wicket‑taker with 14 scalps, delivering pivotal spells against Pakistan, Netherlands, and South Africa.
- Danni Wyatt‑Hodge (England): Top run‑scorer with 302 runs, including an unbeaten 105 against Sri Lanka and 89 against New Zealand, guiding England’s campaign.
