Managing stress before exams is essential. It’s okay to have some stress, but don’t let it overwhelm you. Listen to your teachers and focus on studying the material. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi emphasized during the “Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025” program held today at Unit-1 Government High School in Bhubaneswar.

Exam time can often lead to anxiety for both students and their parents. Chief Minister Majhi advised students to make good use of their time, stay mentally strong, and avoid stress. He encouraged them to heed their teachers’ guidance, study with focus, and maintain confidence in their efforts. “Don’t fear exams; when fear arises, concentration diminishes. Take short breaks while studying to help maintain focus,” he said.

“The exam will eventually be behind you,” he added. “I firmly believe that you will reap the rewards of your hard work. If you consistently strive towards your goals, you will not fail. It’s essential to focus on preparation rather than on the results. Pay attention to what is required during the exam and create summary notes of the subjects you will be tested on. Practice these notes frequently to ease your nerves on exam day.”

Regarding digital devices, the Chief Minister advised students to use them sparingly during study time, especially during exams. “Stay focused; prepare key points upfront, ensure you understand the fundamentals, and revise regularly before the exam. The Brahm Muhurat is an excellent time to study and commit lessons to memory efficiently.”

He encouraged students to remain stress-free and view the advice of their teachers as a valuable resource. “Remember the tips to reduce stress and put them into practice. I truly believe your future is bright. Just study and follow your teachers’ guidance. Whatever happens will turn out well—there is no doubt about it.”

For reference, 168 students from Unit-1 Government High School attended the program and had a chance to interact directly with the Chief Minister, asking questions about exam preparation. Notable participants included students like Liza Nayak, Shubham Patra, J. Meenakshi, Sasmita Sahu, and Sanjeev Digal. The Chief Minister also distributed exam preparation kits to the students.

The event was attended by the Minister of School and Mass Education, Nityananda Gond, Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister, Anupam Saha, and Smt. Ananya Das, State Project Director of the Odisha School Education Programme Authority, alongside teachers and students from Unit-1 Government High School.
