Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday informed that the overall weather conditions will improve in Odisha with gradual drop in the intensity in the rainfall activity from today.
The weather will remain dry with overcast conditions in several parts of the State.
No major change in minimum (night) temperature. Southern Odisha likely to experience rainfall activity from November 17.
Apart from this, there will be no major change in the minimum (night) temperature across the State.
On Saturday, a Low Pressure area had formed over south Andaman Sea and adjoining Thailand coast under the influence of the cyclonic circulation.
The system is likely to move west-northwestwards and concentrate into a Depression over north Andaman Sea and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal by November 15.
It is likely to continue to move west–northwestwards, intensify further and reach near Andhra Pradesh coast around November 18, 2021, said IMD.
