In a heart-wrenching incident in Ganjabahali village, Sambalpur district of Odisha, Murali Dhal (56) lost his life following an axe attack.

The incident, around 11:30 AM on Saturday, has sent shockwaves across the community.

The tragic altercation is reported to have stemmed from prior enmity between the victim and the accused, Giridhari Sahu. Local sources suggest that tensions had escalated due to the relationship between Murali’s son and Giridhari’s daughter, leading to the fatal outcome.

The accused has been taken into custody by Kisinda police, who are conducting further investigations into the matter.

A scientific team has also been deployed to gather evidence from the crime scene. Authorities are working tirelessly to uncover the precise cause of the incident and ensure justice is served.
