OHPC Inks MoU with Odisha Energy Dept for FY 2026–27

Odisha Hydro Power Corporation (OHPC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Energy, Government of Odisha, on 25th May 2026 for the financial year 2026-27, reaffirming its commitment towards excellence in power generation and sustainable energy development in the State.


The MoU was signed by Nibedita Mishra, IAS, Additional Secretary, on behalf of the Department of Energy, Government of Odisha and Pranab Kumar Mohanty, Director (Finance), on behalf of OHPC.

The signing ceremony was held in the august presence of Vishal Kumar Dev, IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of Energy, Government of Odisha.

Among others present on the occasion were Dr. Debi Dutta Tripathy, OFS, F.A.-cum-Special Secretary and Saidutta Biplab Keshari Pradhan, OAS (SAG), Additional Secretary of Dept. of Energy, Govt. of Odisha and Sandeep Patnaik, Director (HR), Sangram Keshari Das, SGM (Electrical), P. M. Rout, GM (Finance), Shri Jogesh Chandra Sahu, GM (Electrical), Lokanath Mohanty, Manager (Finance) and Shri Jyotirmaya Panigrahi, Company Secretary of OHPC.

The MoU outlines the performance targets and strategic objectives of OHPC for FY 2026-27, with emphasis on operational efficiency, sustainable power generation, financial performance, and continued contribution towards the energy security and socio-economic development of Odisha.
