‘Interesting Thought’: Raghav Chadha Hints at New Political Move Amid Rift with Aam Aadmi Party

Amid growing tensions with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has sparked fresh speculation about his political future after sharing a social media post calling a suggestion to form a new party an “interesting thought.”

The post comes days after Chadha was removed as AAP’s deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha, intensifying discussions around his next move.

Social Media Post Triggers Buzz

Chadha recently shared an Instagram reel by a content creator who suggested that he should consider launching his own political party, possibly targeting younger voters.

The creator argued that forming a new party could help Chadha retain strong public support, especially among youth, rather than joining another political outfit where he may face resistance.

Reacting to the idea, Chadha described it as an “interesting thought,” without making any official announcement.

Rift with AAP Deepens

The political friction began when Aam Aadmi Party replaced Chadha with Ashok Kumar Mittal as deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha. Reports also suggest that he was restricted from speaking in Parliament on behalf of the party.

Senior leaders like Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj have publicly questioned Chadha’s stance on key political issues, including his perceived silence on matters related to the ruling party and governance.

They also raised concerns about his absence during protests following the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal.

Chadha Responds

Responding to the criticism, Raghav Chadha stated that he was being “silenced, not defeated.” He defended his record, saying he has consistently raised issues affecting the public whenever given the opportunity in Parliament.

In a separate post, he shared that he had been reading The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene, hinting at strategic reflection during this phase.

What Lies Ahead?

While no formal announcement has been made, Chadha’s recent actions have kept political observers and the public engaged. Whether he chooses to stay within AAP, join another party, or launch a new political platform remains to be seen.

For now, his “interesting thought” remark has added a new dimension to the ongoing political developments.
