Authorities in Delhi launched a high alert on Monday after multiple schools and the Indian Parliament received bomb threat emails.

The messages, reported between 8:30 and 9:00 am, contained inflammatory slogans such as “Delhi will become Khalistan,” references to Afzal Guru, and claimed responsibility under the name “Khalistan National Army.”

Security teams from Delhi Police, the fire department, and bomb disposal squads rushed to the affected schools, including Loreto Convent (Delhi Cantt), Cambridge School (Srinivasanpuri and NFC), Venkateshwar School (Rohini), The Indian School (Sadiq Nagar), CM School (Rohini), DTA School (INA), and Bal Bharati School (Rohini). Students and staff evacuated as precautionary checks began.

Officials confirmed no suspicious objects have been found so far. However, a separate email warned of an explosion inside Parliament at 1:11 pm on February 13, intensifying the security response.

Police initiated a probe to trace the source of the emails and investigate possible extremist links. The coordinated nature of the threats triggered widespread concern, forcing authorities to treat the matter with utmost seriousness.

This incident highlights the growing challenge of digital threats that disrupt public life and create panic. While explosives have not been detected, the scale of the response underscores the seriousness with which security agencies are handling the Delhi bomb threat.
