In a move to directly address citizen concerns, the Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, will conduct a public grievance hearing on Monday, February 9, 2026.

The session is designed to allow residents to voice their issues and seek resolutions face-to-face with the state’s top leader.

The event will commence at 10 AM and take place at the former Government Primary School in Unit-2, Ashok Nagar, Bhubaneswar, located near the Capital Nursery. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to transparent and accessible administration, enabling ordinary citizens to interact directly with the Chief Minister.

To participate, interested individuals must register online, with slots opening on February 6 at 11 AM. Registration will remain available until a maximum of 1000 participants are enrolled. Citizens can sign up through the Jan Sunani portal or the dedicated Jan Sunani mobile application, making the process convenient and digital-first.

This grievance redressal program is organised by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, which has issued a public notice emphasising the importance of such forums in fostering good governance. Participants are encouraged to prepare their complaints in advance to ensure productive discussions during the hearing.

Residents facing issues related to public services, infrastructure, or other administrative matters are particularly urged to take advantage of this opportunity. The department advises early registration to secure a spot, as demand is expected to be high.

For more details, visit the Jan Sunani portal or download the app. This event highlights Odisha’s proactive approach to citizen engagement and problem-solving at the highest level.
