Saurabh Dwivedi Resigns from India Today Group After 12 Years; Kuldeep Mishra to Lead Lallantop Editorial Team

Kuldeep Mishra, a key member of Lallantop’s founding team, will take over as the new editorial head of Lallantop. Rajat Sain, another integral member of the team, will take the helm of the production department. Both individuals are poised to continue Lallantop’s legacy of delivering insightful and engaging content to its audience.

In his farewell post, Dwivedi thanked Lallantop for its identity, lessons, and the courage it instilled in him. He expressed appreciation for the support he received throughout his journey, acknowledging that he had learned a great deal from his colleagues and audience over the years. He stated, “Thank you, @TheLallantop for identity, lessons, and courage. And best wishes for the future. My association here comes to an end. I will introspect, take a leisure break and then talk about the resolve to move forward. You all have also taught me many things. Thank you.”

Prominent figures in the media industry, such as senior journalist Rajdeep Sardesai, also reacted warmly to Dwivedi’s departure. Sardesai expressed admiration for Dwivedi’s work, particularly highlighting Lallantop’s flagship show, Neta Nagri, which he called “a real trendsetter.”

Dwivedi began his career at India Today Group as a Features Editor at aajtak.in under the Mediaplex initiative. Over the years, he earned recognition as one of the group’s most influential editorial leaders. As the founding editor of Lallantop, Dwivedi played an instrumental role in crafting the platform’s distinctive editorial voice. Under his leadership, Lallantop carved out a space for itself, becoming especially popular among young Hindi-speaking audiences in India’s Hindi heartland.
