The Odisha government has announced a door-to-door Subhadra Survey to ensure no eligible woman is excluded from the Subhadra Yojana.

Deputy Chief Minister Parvati Parida stated that despite extending the application deadline to March 31, the application process will no longer be available. Instead, officials will visit each household to conduct the survey.

To date, 1.8 crore women have applied for the Subhadra Yojana. The house-to-house survey aims to include all eligible beneficiaries, ensuring comprehensive coverage under the scheme. The survey will commence after the application process closes on March 31.

Deputy Chief Minister Parida mentioned that the eligible beneficiaries identified during the survey would receive three installments of money on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Additionally, the fifth installment of the first phase of Subhadra Yojana will be disbursed tomorrow, benefiting 1 lakh 70 thousand women.

Moreover, the second installment of the Subhadra Yojana will be distributed on International Women’s Day, March 8, with the first installment directly transferred to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts. The subsequent installment will be given during the Raksha Bandhan festival.

This initiative aims to strengthen the reach of the Subhadra Yojana, ensuring that it benefits as many women as possible.

State-Wide Subhadra Shobha Yatra Commences:

The Subhadra Shobha Yatra, aimed at raising awareness about the Subhadra Yojana, is being held across the entire state, including the capital, Bhubaneswar. The event focuses on empowering women and ensuring the scheme reaches every corner of the state.

Women expressed their gratitude to the government through the Shobha Yatra for keeping its commitment to the Subhadra Yojana. Subhadra rallies have taken place in all Panchayats, with active participation from women and students from self-help groups.

The rally will continue for eight days, culminating on International Women’s Day, March 8. Throughout the state, 6,494 locations will host the Shobha Yatra, accompanied by roadside awareness meetings to educate people about the Subhadra Yojana.

The initiative emphasizes women’s empowerment and social welfare, with the goal of spreading the message of the Subhadra Yojana and ensuring its benefits reach as many women as possible.
