Cardi B has welcomed her fourth child—and her first baby with NFL star Stefon Diggs—the rapper announced in a joyful Instagram video on Wednesday. The clip, in which she lip-syncs to “Hello” from her new studio album Am I the Drama?, confirmed the news that fans had been eagerly awaiting.

A New Baby After a New Album

Cardi B released her album Am I the Drama? on September 19 and had confirmed her pregnancy the same month. In her announcement, she wrote that her life has always unfolded in “chapters and seasons,” adding that she is thrilled to welcome “a new baby” shortly after releasing “a new album.”

This is Cardi B’s first child with Stefon Diggs. Earlier this month, Diggs revealed to People magazine that the couple was expecting a baby boy.

Cardi B’s Personal Journey

Before her relationship with Diggs, Cardi B was married to rapper Offset, with whom she shares three children. She filed for divorce in July 2024. Reflecting on her journey, the Grammy winner said that “starting over” wasn’t easy but ultimately “worth it.”

“My last chapter was the beginning of a new season,” the 33-year-old wrote. “I brought new music and a new album to the world. And I brought a new baby into my world.”

Following the baby’s birth, Cardi B said she feels motivated to become “the best version of me” and is focused on giving her children “the love and life they deserve.”

The rapper is now preparing for her next chapter, which she described as “Me vs. Me.” Cardi B shared that she has already begun tour prep, focusing on her physical and mental readiness and promising fans an unforgettable performance.

Her announcement comes just weeks after she was acquitted in a civil lawsuit filed by her former security guard, Emani Ellis, over allegations stemming from a 2018 incident. Cardi B said she is moving forward with positivity and growth.
