Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced a 2 per cent enhancement in the Dearness Allowance (DA) for employees of State Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) today.
The enhancement elevates the total DA from the previous 53 per cent to 55 per cent of the basic pay, effective retrospectively from January 1, 2025.
This means eligible employees will receive arrears for the past nine months, providing an immediate boost to their take-home pay and helping mitigate the impact of inflation on everyday expenses.
