The Commissionerate Police has announced a cash reward of Rs 25,000 for credible information leading to the whereabouts of Subhamitra Sahoo, a 25-year-old woman traffic constable who has been missing since September 6.
Subhamitra, daughter of Duryadhan Sahoo from Pichukuli under Khordha Town police limits, left for duty from Surya Nagar around 10 AM on the day of her disappearance. Although her shift ended by 7 PM, she never returned home, prompting concern and a citywide search.
In a bid to accelerate the investigation, the police have released her photograph and shared contact details, including a WhatsApp number, for the public to provide any leads. Authorities have assured that the identity of informants will be kept strictly confidential.
The case has sparked public attention and concern, with officials urging citizens to come forward with any information that could assist in locating the missing constable. The search continues as police teams intensify efforts across Bhubaneswar.
