Odisha CM Mohan Majhi expressed deep grief over the death of Bijay Nayak of Puri district, who died on the 26th during treatment in Palghat, Kerala.
Recognizing the gravity of the loss, the Chief Minister has sanctioned an ex-gratia assistance of Rs 4 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to support the deceased’s next of kin.

With the cooperation of the Labour Commissioner and the Puri district administration, Nayak’s mortal remains arrived today at Bhubaneswar Airport.
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida also paid tributes to Shri Nayak and offered condolences to the grieving family.

Bijay Nayak, son of Hina Nayak, hailed from the Renghalo region of Puri and was known for his humble background and community involvement. His passing has left a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
