On the eve of Nuakhai, one of Odisha’s most cherished agricultural festivals, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President and Leader of Opposition, Naveen Patnaik, extended his warm greetings to the people of Odisha.
In a video message, the former Chief Minister invoked the blessings of Maa Samaleswari, wishing for happiness, prosperity, and well-being for all.
In his message, Patnaik, popularly known for his deep connection with Odisha’s cultural roots, shared his festive greetings with the traditional phrase, “Nuakhai Juhar.”
The festival, celebrated with fervour in Western Odisha, marks the harvest of new paddy and is a time for families to come together, offer gratitude, and seek divine blessings for a bountiful future.
