Two villagers were brutally killed by Maoists on the pretext of police informers in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district.
The deceased have been identified as Karam Raju (32) and Madbi Munna (27) of Bugdicheru village under the Tarrem police station area.
Armed Maoists abducted Karam and Munna from their homes and took them to the forest. They first beat them up mercilessly because they were constantly informing the police in the forest.
The Naxals said that their information had caused a lot of damage to the Naxal organization. Therefore, the two villagers were given the death penalty.
Both were killed and thrown back into the village. This morning, after the family informed the police, the police seized the bodies and started an investigation.
