The Housing & Urban Development Department of Odisha announced a significant administrative reshuffle today, transferring and posting seven ORS/OMAS officers to various Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and offices across the state.
This move, effective immediately, aims to enhance governance and efficiency in municipal administration.
The notification, signed by Arindam Dakua, Director of Municipal Administration, details the following key transfers:
- Smt. Aakriti Goenka moves from O.S.D., Sambalpur Municipal Corporation to Executive Officer, Jatani Municipality.
- Pramod Kumar Padhi shifts from the H&U.D. Department to Executive Officer, Bhawanipatna Municipality.
- Shreenibas Mirda is reassigned from Asst. Commissioner, SMC Sambalpur to Executive Officer, Nuapada NAC.
- Vishal Gaurav Mallick transitions from Asst. Commissioner, BMC Bhubaneswar to Asst. Commissioner, Berhampur Municipal Corporation.
- Loknath Bej relocates from Executive Officer, Bhubaneswar NAC to Asst. Commissioner, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.
- Ms. Smruti Swain moves from Addl. Executive Officer, Paradip Municipality to O.S.D., Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.
- Ms. Subhashree Mallick is transferred from Addl. E.O., Baripada Municipality to O.S.D., Cuttack Municipal Corporation.
This strategic reshuffle, ordered by the Governor, is seen as a step towards bolstering urban development and administrative oversight in key municipalities.
