Bhubaneswar: Seeking cancellation of Plus II examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), a large number of students today staged protest at Lower PMG Square in Bhubaneswar.
Reportedly, several students staged an agitation here, a day after Odisha Government announced the cancellation of the Class X examination. The students belonging to various colleges have urged to cancel the examination as the Covid situation continues to worsen.
Odisha School and Mass Education Minister, Samir Ranjan Dash advised the students to keep studying till the final decision over the conduct of the Plus II examination is announce.
Meanwhile, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had earlier informed that he will review the Covid situation in June and take a decision regarding the conduct of the examinations.
