Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to regularise the services of 1,022 Nursing Officers working in the General Health Care system under CDM & PHO & MCHs
On Monday, the State Health & Family Welfare Department issued a circular to the Chief District Medical & Public Health Officers (CDM&PHOs) of various districts, including Angul, Bargarh, Bhadrak, and others, regarding this decision.
This resolution was made following the recommendations of the High Power Committee during their meeting on July 12, 2024.
The circular stated: “The High Power Committee, in their meeting on 12.07.2024, has recommended the regularization of the services of 1,022 Nursing Officers who were initially recruited into the General Health Care system across different CDM & PHOs & MCHs of the state. The Government in the Health & Family Welfare Department has duly accepted the recommendation of the High Power Committee in this matter,” as per the letter.
