The Government of Odisha has assigned three IPS probationers from the 2022 batch to the role of Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) following their completion of Advanced Executive Training (AET).
These appointments were ratified via a notification from the Odisha Police State Headquarters, sanctioned by the Director General of Police (DGP).
Ramendra Prasad is now the SDPO of Baliguda in Kandhamal district, Sonali Singh Parmar takes up the SDPO role in Bonai, Rourkela, and Mane Ajinkya Baburao is the new SDPO of Sadar in Kalahandi district.
In a related move, 2021 batch IPS officer Amritpal Kaur, who was serving as ASP Headquarters in Bolangir, has been designated as SDPO of Padampur in Bargarh district. She succeeds Bibhuti Bhusan Bhoi, an OPS officer, who will now be attached to the Bargarh District Headquarters pending further instructions.
This reorganization demonstrates the commitment of Odisha Police to place well-trained officers in strategic positions throughout the districts.
