Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh will unveil “Wings to Our Hopes – Volume II” and its Hindi counterpart “Ashaon Ki Udaan – Khand 2”, a curated collection of speeches by President Droupadi Murmu, during a special ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan on June 23.
The event will also be graced by Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw and Minister of State Dr. L. Murugan. The books, meticulously compiled by Rashtrapati Bhavan and published by the Publications Division of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, encapsulate 51 speeches delivered by the President between August 2023 and July 2024.
This latest edition offers insights into President Murmu’s governance philosophy, with themes spanning inclusivity, cultural identity, grassroots empowerment, and India’s global aspirations. It continues the tradition of chronicling the voices of national leadership, adding depth to India’s socio-political discourse.
Available in both English and Hindi, including e-versions, the compilations serve as a valuable resource for scholars, policy-makers, and citizens interested in the nation’s democratic journey and vision.
The Publications Division, renowned for documenting seminal speeches of Presidents and Prime Ministers over the decades, underscores its legacy through this release.
