As many as 10 persons sustained injuries while one of them was critical after a bus carrying wedding guests crashed into a house at Jahniapada village, Balasore district last night.
As per reports, the mishap occurred while the bus was en route to a wedding when it lost control and veered off course. Residents came out to rescue the trapped wedding guests after the loud crash. The injured were promptly rushed to nearby hospitals at Khaira, Soro, and Oupada.
The bus driver managed to escape from the scene after the mishap.
Upon receiving the information, Khaira police initiated an investigation into the incident.
