To mark World No Tobacco Day 2025, the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with MyGov, has unveiled the World No Tobacco Day Awareness Quiz 2025.
This nationwide initiative aims to educate students, teachers, and citizens about the harmful effects of tobacco and encourage informed decision-making.
In a groundbreaking step toward inclusivity, the quiz is available in twelve languages—English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, and Punjabi. This multilingual approach aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’s vision of fostering learning in regional languages.
Accessible on , the quiz is free for all participants. Upon completion, users receive a digital certificate recognising their contribution to a healthier, tobacco-free future.
The initiative underscores the role of education in shaping health-conscious individuals and promoting awareness among adolescents. It encourages every school, teacher, and student to join the movement, making awareness not just a digital effort but a national commitment.
