Indian security forces arrested two terrorist associates in the DK Pora area of Shopian, Jammu & Kashmir.
The operation, conducted jointly by the Indian Army’s 34RR SOG Shopian and CRPF 178 Bn, led to the recovery of arms and explosives, including pistols, grenades, and live ammunition.
Authorities believe the timely interception prevented a significant security threat in the region. The Shopian Police emphasised that the operation showcased seamless coordination and operational vigilance among security forces.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defence highlighted Operation Sindoor as a crucial strategic move, reinforcing India’s preparedness and military dominance. Launched on May 7, 2025, the operation demonstrated the country’s commitment to counter cross-border terrorism through precision strikes and joint military efforts.
