Bhubaneswar: The Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn from some parts of Odisha and is very likely to withdraw from remaining parts of the state during the next two days, informed the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre.
According to the regional IMD centre, the Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn from Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Bolangir, Sonepur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack & Nayagarh districts and parts of Khurda, Puri, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal & Ganjam districts on today, the 20th October 2022.
The withdrawal line of Southwest Monsoon now passes through 20.0°N, 93.0°E, Puri, Kanker, Buldana, Dahanu, Long. 71.0° E/Lat. 19.5° N. Conditions are very likely to become favourable for further withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from remaining parts of Odisha during the next 2 days, the Met centre said.
