Bolangir: Police here on Wednesday seized 400 bottles of cough syrup from a rented house located at Barpalipada in the district.
Acting on reliable inputs, police conducted a raid at a rented house located at Barpalipada. During the search, police seized 400 bottles of cough syrup and arrested a person, identified as Prashanta Jena.
Rs 92,000 in cash and 29 bottles of energy drink were also recovered during the raid.
In a similar incident, 150 bottles of cough syrup were also seized from Chudapali area in the district and also arrested a person in this connection, informed Sadar SDPO Tophan Bag.
