In a patriotic display of solidarity and pride, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi flagged off the ‘Parakram Shobha Yatra’ from Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.
The grand procession, organised in honour of the Indian Armed Forces, aims to celebrate their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to national security. The yatra witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens, ex-servicemen, and youth organisations, accompanied by vibrant cultural performances and military-themed tableaux.
Speaking at the event, CM Majhi said, “This yatra is a tribute to the unmatched valour of our soldiers. Odisha stands with our armed forces — in peace, in war, and always with pride.”
The event comes amid heightened nationalistic sentiment following recent cross-border tensions and serves as a unifying gesture to boost morale and public awareness of India’s defence forces.
