The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has significantly strengthened the Indian Army’s strategic surveillance with seven advanced satellites, offering high-resolution imagery of Pakistani military installations and terrorist hideouts.
These satellites play a pivotal role in assisting military operations by tracking enemy movements, identifying terrorist launch pads, and providing precise intelligence for counter-terrorism strikes.
ISRO’s Cartosat satellite, a key asset in this mission, delivers high-resolution images with clarity ranging from 0.6 meters to 0.35 meters, enabling the Indian armed forces to pinpoint enemy locations with extreme accuracy. Through this advanced satellite network, military bases, arms depots, radar stations, and tactical movements of Pakistani forces are being actively monitored.
The information gathered has empowered the Indian Army to counter enemy threats, dismantling radar systems and neutralising drone and missile strikes launched by Pakistan. Moreover, the satellites provide real-time daylight images and video footage, allowing security agencies to take swift action against potential threats in border areas.
