The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced that it will award an additional 6 marks to all candidates who appeared for the SDIPRO (OIS-II) recruitment examination.
This decision follows the discovery of a printing error in the marks indicated for questions 08, 09, and 10 in Part B of the Journalism & Mass Communication paper.
The written examination, conducted on March 29 and 30, 2025, was part of the recruitment process for the SDIPRO (OIS-II), Group-B post, as per Advertisement No. 05 of 2024-25. The error was identified when the total marks for the paper were calculated, revealing that the individual marks for the specified questions were incorrectly printed, resulting in a total of 94 marks instead of the full 100 marks.
In response to this discrepancy, the Commission has decided to award 6 extra marks to all candidates, irrespective of the marks they secured in the Journalism & Mass Communication paper. This adjustment aims to ensure fairness and accuracy in the evaluation process.
