Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Rozgar Mela, distributing over 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited youth across various government departments and organisations.

This event underscored the government’s commitment to employment generation and empowering India’s youth to actively contribute to the nation’s progress.

Addressing the gathering via videoconference, PM Modi highlighted the pivotal role of the youth in nation-building. He emphasised their contributions to India’s economic framework, internal security, and modern infrastructure. The Prime Minister expressed confidence in the dedication and sincerity of the recruits, encouraging them to uphold the values of public service.

The government’s recent Manufacturing Mission aims to foster ‘Make in India,’ supporting MSMEs while creating new job opportunities nationwide. India’s technological leadership in real-time digital transactions, driven by platforms like UPI and GeM, also illustrates the transformative impact of youth-driven innovation.

Looking ahead, the upcoming World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025, set to be hosted in Mumbai, promises to energise India’s digital content landscape. The summit will provide young creators and startups a unique platform to connect with investors and industry leaders, alongside opportunities to explore AI, XR, and immersive media.

PM Modi also celebrated India’s women power, showcasing the government’s focus on rural women empowerment through initiatives like Drone Didis and Mudra Yojana. He stressed the importance of fostering sustainable development and health, promoting campaigns like ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ and International Yoga Day.

With the youth at the forefront of India’s growth story, this Rozgar Mela stands as a beacon of opportunity and inspiration for generations to come.

The new recruits, selected from across the country will be joining the Central Government in various Ministries/Departments including Department of Revenue, Ministry of Personnel and Public Grievances and Pensions, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Posts, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Labour & Employment among others.
