A man allegedly murdered his wife and concealed her body inside a box under their bed before absconding.
The accused, identified as Dushmant Nayak, carried out the crime in Haladi village under Chandahandi police limits. The disturbing act came to light when the victim, Anita Sori, was reported missing by her family, prompting a police investigation.
Upon breaking into the locked house, authorities discovered Anita’s lifeless body hidden in a box beneath the cot. A forensic team was deployed to gather crucial evidence as part of the ongoing investigation.
