Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has warned the United States and Israel against launching fresh military or terrorist attacks, asserting that Iran will independently determine the timing and terms for concluding any renewed hostilities.
According to sources on Saturday, Khamenei emphasised that if adversaries initiate further strikes, the armed forces and the Iranian nation will dictate how and when the response concludes. The warning comes amid heightened tensions and threats of potential military action from Washington and Tel Aviv.
Following a high-level meeting with senior military leadership—his first reported sitting with top commanders—Khamenei instructed forces to remain in a state of intelligent combat readiness. He mandated that any level or form of threat be met with an immediate, impactful, and geographically unrestricted counterattack.
Furthermore, the Supreme Leader ordered military commanders to update Iran’s strategic target list to encompass all tangible and intangible American and Israeli assets within striking distance.
Tehran reaffirmed that its defensive doctrine aims for maximum deterrence against external aggression.
