Karnataka’s electoral landscape has undergone a massive shift as the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) released the final voter list on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process.

The state’s total voter count dropped sharply by 99.32 lakh voters, falling from a pre-revision figure of 5,54,32,314 down to 4,55,00,011 electors.

Gender Breakdown and Young Elector Statistics

According to the official data released by the CEO’s office, the newly published final rolls comprise:

  • Female Voters: 2,29,12,355
  • Male Voters: 2,25,40,493
  • Third-Gender Voters: 2,841

Additionally, the state’s electoral rolls include over 6.83 lakh young electors in the 18–19 age group, highlighting active registration among first-time voters despite the massive downward revision across the state.
