The Sattwalipi (Rights Record) Committee of Lord Lingaraj submitted its third interim report to the Minister for Law, Works, and Excise, Shri Prithviraj Harichandan, today.

The two-member committee, chaired by Justice Dr. Durga Prasanna Choudhury and featuring Professor Prafulla Kumar Mishra as a member, presented a comprehensive set of proposals to the Odisha government. The recommendations focus on streamlining temple rituals (seba puja), ensuring disciplined daily services, and executing essential repair works for the main temple structure and the sanctum sanctorum (Garbhagriha).

In addition to structural and administrative reforms, the report highlights historical traditions, detailing past customs related to ritual execution, deity services, and long-term temple upkeep.

The report submission was attended by key administrative figures, including Principal Secretary of the Law Department Dr. Pabitramohan Samal, Special Secretary Pranab Kumar Patra, and Additional Secretary Shiba Prasad Mahapatra.
