The makers of the upcoming rural horror film Kaali Kheti have officially announced a revision in the film’s theatrical calendar.
Originally slated to hit cinemas on Oct 23, 2026, the project will now arrive on the big screen nearly a month later on Nov 20, 2026.
According to sources, the decision to shift the release date is a strategic move. By stepping away from the crowded cluster of films lined up for release in Oct, the makers aim to secure a clearer, more focused theatrical window and give the horror-thriller breathing room to build steady momentum at the box office.
Alongside the release date update, the studio unveiled a series of striking new character posters highlighting the film’s primary leads, veteran actor Jackie Shroff and powerhouse performer Sharad Kelkar.
Written and directed by Haris Imtiyaz Khan, Kaali Kheti is produced by Sana Khan under the banner of BlackCanvas Studio. The film also features Neha Sargam, Virendra Saxena, and Shaji Choudhary in crucial supporting roles, promising a haunting narrative deeply rooted in rural settings and dark folklore.
