The cast and crew of the runaway box-office hit Hanuman Ansh visited the revered Kainchi Dham in Nainital to offer prayers to Neem Karoli Baba, a day after director Vishal Chaturvedi released a public message warning devotees about potential overcrowding at the ashram.
The team—including lead actors Shobhinaw Satyaa and Purnima Tiwari, alongside producer Ragini Sona—praised the smooth crowd management, ongoing infrastructure developments, and cultural showcases at the site.
Expressing gratitude to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for facilitating the visit, lead actor Shobhinaw Satyaa noted that the organized setup ensured a hassle-free darshan despite heavy pilgrim footfall.
”Our entire team got the opportunity to visit Kainchi Dham. We would like to thank CM Pushkar Singh Dhami for inviting us here. We took Baba’s ashirwaad, and it was a heartfelt moment. We also received the opportunity to witness Uttarakhand’s Rangotsav festival 2026,” Satyaa told news agency ANI.
Satyaa highlighted the vibrant cultural performances, including traditional musical instruments and nagadas (drums), commending the state government for promoting local heritage and supporting the film.
The cast’s visit followed a video message issued by director Vishal Chaturvedi advising prospective pilgrims to assess local traffic and crowd conditions before embarking on their journey.
Acknowledging that the film’s widespread popularity had contributed to an influx of visitors at Kainchi Dham, Chaturvedi requested devotees to avoid creating situations that cause traffic congestion or strain facilities for women and children, suggesting alternative shrines dedicated to Neem Karoli Baba during peak hours.
Written and directed by Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi (a former MBBS doctor turned filmmaker), Hanuman Ansh released on August 7, 2026, on a modest budget of ₹2 crore. The faith-based drama detailing the life and spiritual teachings of Maharaj Ji has since crossed ₹400 crore in global box-office receipts, marking one of the highest returns on investment in contemporary Indian cinema.
