Inox Solar, a subsidiary of Inox Clean, has achieved a significant milestone in India’s renewable energy sector by securing 78 acres of land in Dhenkanal, Odisha.
This land will host a state-of-the-art solar cell and module manufacturing unit, with a total investment of Rs 4,000 crore. With an impressive capacity of 4.8 GW for both solar cells and modules, the project is poised to contribute significantly to India’s clean energy goals.
The Odisha government approved the allocation through its High-Level Clearance Authority (HLCA), reinforcing its vision of becoming a green energy hub. Besides environmental benefits, this initiative will generate over 3,400 jobs, fostering economic growth and sustainable development across the state.
Devansh Jain, Executive Director of INOXGFL Group, expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating, “This strategic land allocation allows us to expand our solar energy footprint, reinforcing our commitment to India’s clean energy goals.” The investment aligns with Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s vision of sustainable industrial growth and green energy transformation.
This project not only highlights Inox Solar’s dedication to renewable energy but also cements Odisha’s position as a leader in driving green initiatives in India.
