The 35th Dashboard Review Meeting of the Housing and Urban Development (H&UD) Department, Government of Odisha, was held today with a clear focus on accelerating urban development and enhancing citizen-centric governance.
Key discussions centered around the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), which is being developed as the central hub for real-time urban monitoring, inter-departmental coordination, and effective grievance redressal. Officials were urged to streamline ICCC operations to make them more responsive to public needs.
The meeting also reviewed the pace of budget utilisation under various urban schemes. Departmental officers were directed to expedite fund deployment to ensure timely project implementation and efficient delivery of essential services.
Priority areas highlighted during the review included urban sanitation, clean water supply, solid waste management, and digital public service access. Recent field visit insights were shared, offering practical feedback on challenges faced at the ground level.
Officials were encouraged to adopt innovative solutions, improve inter-agency coordination, and strengthen accountability mechanisms. The department reaffirmed its commitment to building empowered cities and resilient urban systems in line with the state’s vision of “Viksit Odisha @2036.”
