A total of 34 students were rescued at Berhampur railway station on Saturday while travelling aboard the Falaknuma Express.
The operation was conducted by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) during routine monitoring, following which the students were safely handed over to the Government Railway Police (GRP) for further inquiry.
Two Individuals Detained for Questioning
Officials confirmed that two youths accompanying the students were detained at the station. Authorities are currently questioning them to ascertain their role and involvement in the journey. The circumstances surrounding the group’s travel are under close scrutiny.
