Bhubaneswar: A 16-year-old student has gone missing after returning from Yesha Institute for Commerce and Science- a coaching centre located in Saheed Nagar area of Bhubaneswar on Wednesday evening.
The missing student, Saiprasad Panda, aged 16 years, is the son of Arup Ranjan Panda, an employee of Odia Daily Pragativadi. Sai was taking coaching in the institute after appearing for matriculation examination this year.
A missing complaint has been lodged with Saheed Nagar Police station and Police Commissioner Saumendra Priyadarshi has been apprised the same. However, the missing boy is yet to be traced.
“Sai left home for coaching at 3:30 pm like every day but did not return home in the evening. While, the classes ended at 6.15 pm, he did not show up at home till late,” said his father, Mr Panda.
He said that Sai never used to halt with any friends and come home early after classes by 7 pm. But his sudden disappearance has left the entire family shocked.

Sai is about 5.6 feet in height and fair in complexion. He had left home on a red color bike wand was wearing a grey colour full pant and maroon colour shirt. He was carrying a black colour bag. He used to go the coaching centre on the Jharpada road route via Bomikhal bridge and Maharishi College.
