The body of an unidentified youth was found beneath the Jharpada railway overbridge on Wednesday morning, sparking concerns over the circumstances surrounding his death.
Local residents first spotted the body and alerted authorities. A police team promptly reached the scene and initiated an investigation. The body was sent to Capital Hospital for post-mortem examination, which officials say will be crucial in determining the cause of death.
The Government Railway Police (GRP) is currently probing whether the youth fell, jumped, or was pushed from the overbridge. Evidence is being collected from the site, and efforts are underway to establish the identity of the deceased.
