Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that most places across Odisha will witness foggy weather conditions for the next two days while the minimum temperature is expected to rise by two to three degree Celsius in the next 24 hours.
The IMD also issued dense fog alert for 16 districts till January 6.
Districts of Angul, Boudh, Sonepur, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal and Bhadrak were slapped with a yellow warning for dense fog today, while Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara Cuttack, Kandhamal and Jagatsinghpur are likely to witness dense fog on January 5.
A yellow warning for dense fog on January 6 has been issued for Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Kandhamal, Jagatsinghpur and Nayagarh districts.
4th January: Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Angul, Boudh, Sonepur, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Kandhamal and at one or two places over the districts of Khordha, Nayagarh, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Malkangiri, Puri, Kalahandi, Dhenkanal and Jajpur.
5th January: Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of Khordha, Puri, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Rayagada and Kandhamal.
6th January: Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, Kandhamal, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal and Angul.
7th January: Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Balasore, Jajpur, Kendrapara Sundargarh, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar.
8th January: Dry weather most likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.
