Veteran Ollywood actor Uttam Mohanty was hospitalised in a private hospital under Infosity police limits in Bhubaneswar as his health condition deteriorated.
The actor has been admitted here for the last three days. Currently, he is in ICU since Friday. Reports indicate that he is on ventilator support and in critical condition.
According to reports, Uttam Mohanty had moved outside for shooting of a film that will feature him alongside his actor wife Aparajita Mohanty and son Babushaan. During his stay, health conditions suddenly worsened following which he was rushed to Bhubaneswar for treatment.
Mohanty, a prominent figure in Odia cinema, has appeared in over 135 Odia films, as well as 30 Bengali films and one Hindi film.
