The Union Public Service Commission declared the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2025, held on September 14.
A total of 9085 candidates qualified for the next stage—interviews conducted by the Service Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence.
Successful candidates will be considered for admission to five prestigious institutions: Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers Training Academy (OTA) for both men and women. The IMA, INA, and AFA courses begin in July 2026, while OTA courses commence in October 2026.
Candidates must submit original documents verifying age, education, and NCC credentials to respective military headquarters. Deadlines vary: July 1, 2026 for IMA and INA, May 13, 2026 for AFA, and October 1, 2026 for OTA. UPSC will not accept any original certificates.
Army-first-choice candidates must register at to receive SSB interview details. Those already registered need not repeat the process. Candidates must notify relevant headquarters of any address changes.
UPSC provides a Facilitation Counter for queries at its campus and offers helpline numbers for each branch. Candidates can also check their results on . Marksheets will be available online within 15 days of the final OTA result and remain accessible for 30 days.
